Courses cover a wide range of topics directly relevant to the occupational therapy profession and discipline. As the OT scope within health and social care is so broad, so too is the subject material examined! It includes: • Assessment and intervention methods • Core skills - such as moving and handling principles and communication approaches • Condition-specific learning - such as for depression, stroke, MS and ADHD • Specialist areas - such as trauma-informed therapy, sleep management and the use of positive psychology • Advanced therapeutic techniques • New research in the field The Occupational Therapy Hub is continuously working - both as a team and with partners in the field - to develop new courses for you. So watch this space, for any gaps in our current offering!

Structure • OT CPD Courses are self-paced and online - providing flexible learning, without disrupting work schedules or other commitments • Each course is broken down into manageable learning sections and sub-sections, comprising of written prose, graphics and/or videos • A test section then consolidates your knowledge, with single and multiple-choice questions; you must score 80% or more to pass • Finally, a self-reflection section asks you to evaluate what you have learnt - and consider how you will take this forward in your work or study Duration • The majority of courses are short - making education accessible and quickly translatable to your practise • The exact length of each course varies; duration depends on the subject material and the breadth/depth of learning required to master it • As a general rule, most can be completed in 1-2 hours, within a single sitting • Some courses go into greater detail and take longer to finish; if this is the case, it will be indicated within the course description • Progress is saved after each section - participate at a pace and time that suits you!

All OT CPD Courses are written and edited by clinicians. This means that they are relevant to current occupational therapy practices and meet high quality standards. Courses typically take 1-2 hours to complete. At present, they are not assigned a specific number of CPD/CEU points. This is because the allocation and accreditation processes vary from country-to-country - and our courses are available globally. Any accreditation updates will be posted here.
