Introduction and questions

Hi all I am a wheelchair therapist in Devon and I wondered what specialist seating other services are using and what the outcomes are. We are beginning to look at our whole specialist seating process shortly. Again I wondered what your specialist seating process is, so for example how long is it taking etc etc.

Thank you Jaime

Hi Jaime,

I'm based on the Isle of Man so things probably work slightly different here. We currently have a contract with Careflex and get the vast majority of our seating from them. It generally takes 4-6 weeks from the order of a chair to it arriving. Some of that time may be in our own internal processes and shipping through a 3rd party (weather can often play a big part in anything getting here as we are reliant on boats being able to sail!).
