Cognitive assessments
Hi
I work in the acute setting, as part of the medical team. Until recently we used the MoCA to assess cognition, but are no longer able to use this due to now needing to be accredited.
Has anyone else had this problem, and what are you using now that is appropriate in this area.

In acute care, the shift from MoCA due to accreditation constraints is frequent. MMSE or MoCA Blind are employed as alternatives for cognitive assessments, maintaining Brain IQ standards.
