Hi everyone! I have been an OT for about 10 months and will be doing my first home evaluations for a patient who recently had a stroke. I've done home evaluations as a student/with my OT supervisor, but never by myself. Just wanted to see if anyone had an tips that I could add to the notes I took when I was in school. Thanks in advance!

The patient, their spouse, and I believe one of their children will be there to learn and participate in the evaluation. Thank you for all these suggestions! I think one of my downfalls is that I love a good list and sometimes tend to stick to the list and not critically think. Love the idea of having the patient move around the home to identify obstacles and risks. Thank you so much for your post!!
