I’ve spent a happy couple of hours updating my TRAM this weekend. Especially good to look back and see all I’ve done in my advanced therapy practitioner role. Still feels new. Feeling very organised. A couple of reflections to do as I have pondered some particularly challenging issues this year. Also made me focus on implementing some changes.
While an electronic version is great for the detail, I've printed off the most relevant CPD stuff to store in a presentation folder to take to interviews which potential employers can review
I absolutely intend to transfer it all at some point and I will use this been as it seems to work so well for you Sue! I've no idea how long it will take me though! Jamie do you use an online CPD tool?
Hi Jamie, I’ve had a paper based portfolio for several years. It always meant I needed to go through it and update if I was doing something new. It was also hard to decide what to keep and what to discard. I wanted to keep one central point of reference. As I also hot desk I had nI means of keeping lots of paper in one spot and now I can access my TRAMm anywhere. I’ve enjoyed looking back and remembering what I’ve done. Sue
Hi there @susangara901,Thanks for explaining about how you use TRAMm CPD. Sorry to hear your post isn't showing - if you want to re-add this, click the 3 dots icon on the right of the post to edit. It's helpful to hear how different people keep track of their CPD. I'm newly qualified, so am keen to understand all the options out there. Is TRAMm a fully free option? What made you choose this method over others?
@Laura Jones - how are you finding managing your paper-based version? I guess different things work for different people...For those not aware of TRAMm CPD, see this link: https://trammcpd.com/
Hi all. Apologies I don’t know what happened to my post ! I have used TRAMm to record my CPD for about 4 years. Everything is in there now and I keep nothing on paper. If I do a reflection I attach it into my virtual portfolio. If I have a thank you card I scan and anonymise it. If I have a certificate attach it and record what it is for. At intervals I check back and ensure I have relevant and important Information. It is by no means perfect but overall a good way to keep up to date . This year I have used it to evidence my competency framework for RCOT by looking back and referring it to the particular elements required .

Yes our understanding is that it's an online version. In fact, it's listed in our Resources + Services Portal! Tale a look there for details.
