Hi, I'm a 1st year student, our current module is Psychology. I would really appreciate any information on anyone has regarding where I can find resources to support how these approaches; Cognitive. Behavioural, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Evolutionary or Biological. I have done some research but not that successful at linking to OT. Thanks in advance

Very welcome!
Since our Q&A Forum needs greater promotion, we could post your question on social media (anonymised or not, depending what you prefer)? For now, you may get faster response there...
Cheers.
Thanks for your reply that's really helpful
Hi Jamie!
The psychological approaches you mention are applicable widely - in other professions and in academia, rather than specifically OT. From our personal experiences studying this, you would adapt ideas from these approaches to the ethos and frameworks of occupational therapy. This is akin to 'evidence informed' - rather than evidence-based.
Having said that, we'd be interested to hear if other Members know of evidence or resources that link the approaches to OT theory?
