Cognition- e.g. difficulty understanding the material, a perfectionistic tendency, rigidity of thought
Affect/physiology - e.g. unrelated anxiety, stress, exhaustion, or other life factors (such as grief or hunger)
Motivation/behaviour - e.g. a fear of failure or criticism, lack of enjoyment in the subject material, procrastination, interruptions, a disrupted routine
