safe and resistant toothbrush

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone has recommendations for a sturdy, durable toothbrush for a student who tends to bite down hard during oral care. We’ve had several instances where standard toothbrushes have broken in the mouth, which raises concerns about safety and potential choking risks. I’m specifically looking for toothbrushes that are: Designed to withstand strong biting/chewing pressure Safe and resistant to breaking or coming apart in the mouth Ideally used successfully with students who have similar oral-motor needs If you’ve used any specific products or have strategies that have worked well in similar situations, I’d greatly appreciate your input. Thanks so much in advance for your help!

MS home assistive technology

Hi everyone, I've met a lady with MS who is looking to add some assistive technology to her home. Cheep or expensive, doesn't matter. Her most prominent symptom is fatigue, so anything that would assist with this would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks.

Hi Madison,

Just FYI, a handy general article on this theme - 'What assistive devices are available to those with multiple sclerosis?' (Medical News Today):

Advice for accessible bike

Hello, I am looking to source a bike suitable for a child who does not have any fingers to grip handlebars or pull brake leavers. Struggling to find a supplier that offers a solution, so any advice would be appreciated!

Sharing another suggestion on behalf of a Hub follower on Instagram: "Tom Cat (https://tomcatuk.org) - Each bike is unique and caters for children and adults with visual, spatial, physical or neurological difficulties. If they can’t help, they may point you in the direction of someone who can."

High/low extra deep baths

I am looking for an extra deep high low bath for a client of 5 foot 3”, weighs 8 stone, has cerebral palsy and uses a turtle bath support for postural support.

I have researched a range of high/low baths but these are not deep enough.

I have found a bath through Ambrestone but this is 2000mm long!  It measures 460mm from base of bath to the overflow which is ideal.  I cannot find another high/low bath that matches this depth.

This depth meets my client’s needs, but is approximately 400mm too long for her.

I wonder if anyone might know of any other high/low baths that are on the market with a more standard length please?
