Working as an OT internationally

Hi, I was wondering if you were able to give any advice or information for OTs from the UK wanting to work in countries such as Australia, Canada or New Zealand? Any guidance would be great, thanks!

p.s love this new OT hub, great idea and wish it all the success!

Hi Christopher, the CAOT website provides advice on how internationally educated OTs (IEOTs ) can get registered for practice in Canada (through the SEAS process) It is quite a lengthy and expensive process, although they are aiming to get the length of time down to around 6mths (not sure they will manage that). There are different requirements for different provinces but CAOT should be your first stop for guidance.
