Hello everyone,

Hi Justine. It is great to see so many OT s from all over the world. Im from Australia , private practice OT, just discovered this Hub. It has great resources.
It is with pleasure that I inform you that in my country, Tanzania, we have now established two bachelor courses in occupational therapy . Apologies if this is not the right platform to post this.
@Vanessa Dallaris - thanks for sharing this exciting bit of news about occupational therapy education in your country! This kind of sharing is welcome within OT Circles; perhaps the Service Development Circle would have been the most logical place for it, but here's fine. If you come across any external articles about this news, feel free to share the link in your post.
Hi fellow OTPs!!
My name is Jesse Ausec and I am pursuing my post-professional doctorate at The Medical University of South Carolina. Please consider taking a 5-10 min. survey to assist me in creating a professional development model for my capstone (and the OT profession)!!
Details about capstone below:
The focus of my capstone is to develop a conceptual model to help guide the development of competent and confident OT professionals. My goal is to create a model that is FOR OTPs and developed BY OTPs!!
Stakeholders are OTPs with any degree and experience level, OT educators, and OT managers.

Hi Vanessa, here the UK, Physiotherapists tend to provide information and go through pelvic floor exercise. This service is provided in womens health. It usually for pts who are post natal or have had gynaelogical conditions.
I recently myself have had a hysterectomy i was just given information and no face to face support. I think that you can be referred for follow on to physiotherapy if your pelvic floor needs more input. ive only known physio to carry this out. Hope that helps.
