About
I currently work in CAMHS for Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust, based out of Lichfield. I have an interest in sensory aspects of ASC, and using behavioural activation and working collaboratively with local community organisations with my service users. Currently involved with a school farm and a community garden.
I have always loved adventure and my first proper job was in the army . I then spent over 25 years in manufacturing making every thing from aircraft to heart medicines. I retrained after the pandemic so that I can know use my problem solving skills and love of the outdoors to help other people.
My previous role before becoming an OT revolved around Fuel Poverty and how we could build an innovative UK industry/market place that employed local people to improve quality of our housing stock. I passionately believe the NHS ICS 's needs to focus more on Health Inequalities and be more involved in upstream activities utilising Social Finance.
