About
I have been an OTR since 1972. I have studied sensory processing and sensory integration for years. I have taken up to level 3 of DIR training. I have worked with geriatrices in nursing homes and home health care, adult developmentally delayed clients in day treatments and in their supported living homes. I have worked in schools doing telehealth. I have had my own clinic where we provided OT, Speech and PT to early intervention and preschoolers throug the county of Monroe in NY. My clinic was called OTRNY. I moved to Hawaii 17 years ago and continues to work as an early intervention OT and then changed jobs internally to work with 3-8 year old children who had behavioral issues. I left that position and was unemployed during COVID. I the worked with school age children via telehealth on the Big Island of Hawaii and on the Island of Maui. I am curently working in a private clinic with other OTs and a PT and we treat children 0-21 years old. My primary interests are sensory processing/integration, CBT for children with PTSD and other mental health problems. I also work on fine motor issues as they pertain to self help and handwriting. I have been an ot in practice for 51 years and am still going strong.
