Hello! I am currently a second-year student in the U.S. I was assigned acute care and school-based OT for my level-II fieldwork sites. Any advice or resources to look at for either setting? Thank you!

Aside from the text books and journals you should have access to through searching your uni library, for the school setting, have a look at Neurodiversity Affirming Practice.
Learn Play Thrive has good information online and a good podcast.
Sensory Integration Education website has some free training aimed at parents which might help.
In an acute care setting, you should be familiar with precautions after hip, shoulder and spine surgeries; various types of weight bearing status; use of durable medical equipment and adaptive equipment; discharge recommendations; how to transfer the patient from bed/chair/toilet.
