Hi I’m wondering if fellow OTs would share any Apps (android or apple) they have found useful in practice. My areas of interest are, Stroke, Dementia, DCD, Dyslexia. Thanks in advance.
Here is a complete guide to help you make the right decision with regards to VR’s use with Mac. All the compatible headsets are listed and provided along is a guide to here.
Awesome :) I've downloaded the images from this Forum, so could upload to the OT Gallery via Wix. If you'd like Wix access to edit the site, message me :) J
I will share them on the Gallery, good idea! They are from University of Scotland and Call Scotland which is an organisation part funded by the Scottish Government who work to help children and young people across Scotland overcome disability and barriers to learning.
[@Laura Jones] - Those wheels are amazing! Hugely useful and so comprehensive! We should raise awareness of them on social media. I'll look into it later. Jamie @ The OT Hub
Amazing Janette! Thanks for those recommendations for Niamh :)
Our Team will also be keen to try them out!
And your blog website is awesome! So much useful stuff on there. Perhaps, you might be interested in showcasing one of your blogs on The OT Hub, as a Member's Guest Blog? I actually wrote a blog post about the common apps I was using. Check it out! https://aspiringotblog.wordpress.com/2018/03/19/apps-to-help-improve-brain-function/
For my level 2 FW I was working with patients with neurological conditions including stroke, brain injuries, dementia, etc. I found Visual Attention ($9.99), BrainTurk ($3.99), Mind Games Pro ($4.99), and Flow Free (free), Stroop Effect (free) to be useful with the population I was working with.
I've checked The OT Hub's Instagram account and a follower has posted a very useful bit of advice:
"If she goes on the mytherappy website then they have lots of peer reviewed apps placed into different categories where she will probably find everything out there at the moment."
As per our messaging with you, we'll share your question across our social media, to raise Members' awareness of your new question. We hope you'll find the forum helpful in signposting useful apps.
In the meantime, check out this website, which may also be of use: https://otswithapps.com/2013/06/14/apps-list-by-occupational-performance/.

I love those wheels @Laura :) If we share them via the OT Gallery, is there someone/an organisation we should credit?
