About
DisruptOT is a free, two-day virtual summit, taking place August 7-8, 2021. DisruptOT is a grassroots effort, and we are intentionally making critical information free and accessible to the occupational therapy and allied health community worldwide. 25 panelists and facilitators from around the world have spent months ensuring attendees will be enabled to take action on topics, such as:
- Healing
- Building community
- Antiracism
- Decolonisation
- Mental health
- Gender
- Sexuality
In an effort to disrupt the current system, we are making this event free for all to attend and access critical knowledge without barriers. We are relying on sponsors and mutual aid from individuals to compensate our panelists, who are sharing their experience, expertise, and labor with us. All funds will go directly to DisruptOT panelists, ensuring equal and fair compensation.Â
