Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.

I love catching up on posts to see how everyone is getting on in their neuro roles! I’m currently working in a reablement-focused Adult Social Care Team but have hopes to transition back into hospital work, ideally in a neuro role, as I thoroughly enjoyed this field in a previous position in South Africa.

I am reaching out to neuro occupational therapists practicing in the UK. I recently came across a certified neuro specialist course offered by the Neuro Specialist Institute in the USA, which is approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). According to the website, this certification is internationally recognized.

I am very interested in completing this course and wanted to hear from any neuro OTs in the UK who may have undertaken it. I would appreciate any insights on how recognized this certification is within the UK.
