Hannah Nägele

Hello fellow OTs,

I joined the Network because I would like to get more involved in research or project development and in general grow in my career. After graduating from OT school in Germany I lived in the US for two years and when I came back home decided to get a bachelors degree. During my time at university I discovered how much I enjoy doing research and through that playing a role in further developing the field of Occupational Therapy. For my bachelors thesis I executed a quantitative research project together with two fellow students, which was published in the ergoscience and successfully completed my Bachelor of Scienece in Occupational Therapy in February 2022. I’ve been working as an OT at a neurological rehabilitation center in Germany since then. While I enjoy my work with the patients I miss having the opportunity to learn and to connect with other OTs, who are doing research and development. In the future would love to get more involved in this area again and maybe even find a job related to it.
